General Construction:
Hull:
The hull is made of hand-laid GRP with a balsa sandwich above the waterline (remaining solid where shrouds, stays etc. are attached to the hull). Integral longitudinal and transverse beams provide additional strength and rigidity. Structural bulkheads are hand-bonded to the hull and the engine bed is reinforced with steel plates.
The lead keel is attached to a moulded extension beneath the boat using 20mm diameter stainless steel bolts.
The GRP rudder is moulded around a 45mm stainless steel rudder shaft with strengthening arms into the rudder blade, operated by a stainless steel wheel on a steering pedestal.
Rudder shaft bearings are of stainless steel with deldrinium glide-pieces.
The standard hull is white with a blue waterline, with a dark blue hull and white waterline as an option.
Deck:
The GRP deck is also hand-laid with a balsa-cored sandwich construction providing added strength and good insulation. The hull and the deck are through-bolted and bonded over with hand-laid GRP. The aluminium toerail can be upgraded to teak. The deck surface features a moulded non-slip surface. At the bow, there is a self-draining anchor locker.
A spacious self-draining cockpit has a large full-depth locker on the port side, a second locker to starboard, and cave lockers on both sides for smaller items. The cockpit seats and sole are laid with 11mm solid teak, providing a warm and attractive surface.
Deck Fittings:
Stainless steel pulpit, with seat/step, and push pit, with transom gate from the boarding platform.
Bow roller.
Stainless steel stanchions with twin plastic coated stainless wires (630 mm high).
Boarding/swimming platform with transom ladder.
Windows and roof hatches with aluminium frames and toughened glass. Two opening hatches, two opening windows.
Electric wipers to forward-facing deck-saloon windows.
Six aluminium mooring cleats.
Five ventilators through the deck: Above the galley, heads compartment, forecabin, saloon and aft cabin.
Mast, Rig and Sail Handling:
Aluminium deck-stepped single-spreader mast by Selden (profile 170mm x 115mm) with internal halyards. Seldon boom (profile 143mm x 76mm) with rod kicker.
Furlex headsail furling system.
Halyard winch on cabin roof.
Two self-tailing winches on mast (Lewmar 16 or equivalent).
Two self-tailing genoa winches in cockpit (Lewmar 43 or equivalent).
30mm genoa-tracks with cars.
Mainsail X-track with adjustable car.

Interior:
Layout:
Entering the cabin through the companionway, on the port side is the raised saloon seating, taking advantage of the all-round views through the toughened deck-saloon windows. In the saloon, the headroom is 205cm. On the starboard side is the entrance to the double aft cabin, which extends back underneath the cockpit.
Opposite the saloon seating is the internal steering and navigation station, with sloped chart and instrument table and navigator’s seat.
Moving forwards, on the port side and extending back underneath the saloon seating, is a pilot berth. Ahead of this is the heads and shower compartment.
On the starboard side, forward of the navigation station is the galley. Here there is headroom of 178cm.
In the forward section of the yacht is a double cabin.
In addition to the opening hatches, there are five ventilators throughout the interior.
Fitted carpets are an option.
Style:
The interior is finished in satin-varnished Burmese teak and teak-faced plywood as standard, with mahogany as an option. The floorboards are teak and holly-faced plywood. A wide choice of fabrics for the cushions and curtains are offered. Cushions are through-buttoned and finished with a knee roll for extra comfort.
Accommodation:
The forward cabin has a V-berth arrangement with plenty of storage. An opening hatch provides ventilation and an emergency exit route.
The saloon can seat up to 5 persons. The saloon table has a drop-leaf section that lifts to provide a large table for meal times. The saloon seat is long enough to be used as an occasional sixth berth. Underneath the saloon seating is the port pilot berth, with a wardrobe at its head, adjacent to the heads compartment.
The aft double cabin door is adjacent to the companionway. Good headroom, floor space and light make the cabin practical and pleasant. Stowage includes a hanging locker, a storage locker and lockers under the berths.
The galley extends along the starboard side, ahead of the navigator’s station. Set into the laminate work surface (Corian is an option) there is a gimballed two burner gas cooker with oven, a coldbox (ready for a fridge installation), and two stainless steel sinks. A gas stop valve is located near the cooker. Hot and cold pressurised water is supplied to the sink, along with foot-pumped seawater for rinsing dishes. An extra work surface hinges up from the bulkhead adjacent to the saloon seating.
The heads compartment includes a shower, with tray and pump. The hand-pump marine toilet system includes a 60 litre holding tank, emptied by a separate pump into the sea or via a deck fitting. Pressurised hot and cold water is supplied to the sink. A wet locker is also situated in the heads compartment.
Ventilation is provided by five deck ventilators, two opening hatches (forecabin and nav. Station) and two opening windows (heads and galley).
Engine:
The standard engine is the Volvo model D1-30 21kW freshwater-cooled marine diesel driving a fixed 3-blade propeller via a 25mm stainless steel shaft. Saildrive and a 3-blade folding propeller are options.
The engine compartment offers good access and is well insulated by 25 mm aluminium surfaced sound proofing material.
The stainless steel fuel tank holds approximately 150 litres and has a separate fuel valve. It is filled from the deck. Both the fuel and water tank are located in the centre of the boat, either side of the keel.
The instrument panel at the navigator’s station includes a rev counter and voltmeter, with warning lights and an audible alarm for water temperature, charging and oil pressure.
Water System:
The 150litre stainless steel fresh water tank feeds a pressurised hot and cold water system powered by an electric water pump.
A further electric pump empties the shower tray.
In the cockpit, a manual bilge pump is installed.
Electrical:
The 12 V DC system includes one 70Ah starter battery and two 110Ah service batteries, charged by a 14V/55A engine alternator and isolated by separate battery switches.
At the navigation station the hinged switchboard contains switches with automatic fuses, fuel and water gauges and a 12v power socket.
Halogen lights on teak pads are installed throughout the interior, and fluorescent lights are fitted in the galley and heads. There is also a chart light.
External lights include international navigation lights, an anchor light, deck light and compass and instrument lighting.
Additional Equipment:
Two fire extinguishers. Flagstaff. Two winch handles. Four fenders. Four 8 metre mooring lines.

General:

The yards own insurance will cover the boat and other equipment supplied by the builder during build time and until delivery. Owner supplied items to be insured by the same.
Warranty:
The boat has one-year (12 months) warranty against production and material faults. Installed equipment has warranty according to each supplier’s warranty conditions.
